Day 1 of 30

Never had I know who you are before a while back

Just as fate would have it you walked on by

Another month of major vibes

Never ending ‘fights’ and random flights ensued

Joining the ensemble of a new stair to climb pursued

As the days build on from this day 1

Happy birthday to the soul that’s bloomed

Beyond the age you’ll become a new

Dawning the character you’ve so soberly drew

3 in hand and twins in the wind

0 regrets should you carry to this floor

Today is day 1 of your awesomeness bloom

Happy birthday to this awesome soul you are!

Monday blues?

Is it the Monday blues,
Or just workplace views,
Vexing my questionable low spirits.

Is it the snakes rapped in official cloaks,
Walking around looking like jokes,
Or the false pretense irking my ever so questionable spirits?

Is it my inner demons making me doubt my worth,
Are they pushing me to quit and head south,
Or am I livead at my questionable spirit?

Why is it that my life’s jungle keeps getting thicker
I trek this harsh terrains, looking ever so often over my shoulder.
Is it me ,is it him or is it her?

Whose prey am I going to fall victim to this time,
Is loving hard, caring excessively or holding tightly a crime,
Or is it  just my questionably low spirits?

I served him fear

Nuts is what I’m called,

stupid is what I’m not

Alluding to the abused foe

Before he became a total boulder

“Mind your lingo” I must have said

Before his verbal diarrhea met my

Enchanting clenched fist of five

Five seconds was too much

But five people could not hold him up

Now I’m called the walking beer

Coz I gave that man an instant fear

Made his stagger and a blackout he saw

When he came tumbling down at the first blow

THE RISING SUN part 2

We survived to see the rising sun of black power
The ascent of our ancestors back to the throne
Where they were removed with guns and treaties
With sweets and freebies

I can now feel the blood of Shaka in me
As I traverse this jangle of a city
Striving to be the best that I can ever be
The best that my black brain can generate
New inventions I will create
Our stolen tradition we will reclaim
Rebuild the Gedi ruins and serve it in hells kitchen
Before dishing it out at hells gate
The nature at its best, heavenly
The darkness of night resembles my past
But I now look at the dawn
Waiting on me to shine bright
I will be the next Ali stinging like a bee
I will be the next orator living as it is
I will make the color of my skin a plus not a curse
I need not fear the sun I will toil in it, hard work
I need not fear the long hours of darkness
The sun shines more than I require
I will make the Dark Continent a source of dark light
A beautiful majestic source of world leading ideas
I will shun all the critics, the mean things
I will rise from the ashes of the dark coal
And burn as bright as the lava flow
Create new dimensions with the overflow
Of intelligence and skills
Endurance and pleasant strength
Passed on to me from generations

I am the son of a warrior
The bearer of good things
I will be greater than you think
I will be the morning star
Black we are

After all the absence of light is darkness
And in the beginning there was dark
We have always been there.

HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY

from google.com

To the women in my life

The mothers of my time

Those who have built me to who I am

Making me who I will be

Your soft touch to make me sleep

mother

Your sweet hands to lead my way

sister

Your loving kiss embracing my stay

sweetheart

Your loving hands when I will hold you dear

Hold you near as I show you the world

My daughter to be

My wife who is and will be

My mother who raised me

And the girls who showed me

That there is more than I see

I salute you dear ladies

USED TO LOVE YOU

I bet you’ll miss me now for life

Coz saying I love you will be a lie

But I cannot deny

There was a part of me that really liked

Your spendthrift nature

Your outright demand for things

Just that you never bought them

You had a need for flashy things

A need to fulfill your desires

Not with your own money

But with my hard earned sweat

Pleasing you even to dept.

Glad that is over

Glad I got sober

Now I work for myself

And I’m worth more than your ugly personality

Inspired by the song Used to love you by John Legend

GLAD I MET YOU

This might be cliché

Not the first time I say

But for you I may

Retaliate it over and over again

I am pleased to have ever met you

Glad that after all that time you stay true

To the very words you said in-tune

After a month of dating

Now days add to many months

Months that we have shared together

Months that we have spared forever

I am glad I met you

So grateful that we are true

NEVER GO

Never walk out that door

Never walk back any more

Never see the outside wall

Never see my inside wail

You came and got hold

Rooted into my hearts system

Running my thoughts and deeds

Making me yours indeed

I will never let go

And hope that you will never to

In you I have found a life

And I will marry you
